The more I explore DA the more I realize something: Nobody gives criticism here. I've seen things that startle me, things that take my breath away, and then I've seen things that would have died stillborn on my pen. And every time it seems like there's someone there to say "Beautiful, just lovely." I wonder if my taste is so far out to sea, or if people here are just really, really polite. It's nice for a while, but I get the feeling as time goes by I'm going to have to spread grief, because I feel responsible when an artist who's presenting in a public forum doesn't get told that their bad works are bad.
